Oil palm was first introduced to Malaysia as an ornamental plant in 1870. It has become the most important commodity crop in Malaysia today. Since 1985, CHS has involved in oil palm cultivation and trading. CHS is one of the biggest suppliers of premium oil palm seedings in southern region of Malaysia. CHS set its benchmark in the market by supplying high quality seeds which is recognised by Felda and Sime Darby.
The pre-supply seeds selection and sorting process is never something we would compromise. Our products are shipped out to our customers by our own logistic department thus minimising any delay in transportation. As at to date, oil palm tree planted on ten of thousands hectare of land in Malaysia were germinated from CHS’s seedings. The numbers are still increasing.
CHS also provides one stop solutions and services such as replanting contract work, smallholding / estate management, purchase fresh fruits bunches (FFB) and transportation. We have been engaged to manage thousands of replanting projects all around Malaysia. To facilitate the increasing tonnage of purchase of fresh fruits bunches (FFB), CHS has invested and constructed oil palm ramps at few strategic locations in Melaka & Negeri Sembilan. CHS collect and purchase fresh fruits bunches (FFB) at most reasonable price from our customer and ensure FFB supplied by us could maximised the Oil Extraction Rate by oil palm mill.
We were awarded with Oil Palm Nursery Competency Certificate (OPNCC) by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), a certification that recognise the effort and commitment of CHS in producing outstanding quality seedlings. In 1999, CHS won Anugerah Industri Sawit Malaysia under the category Tapak Semaian by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB). In 2013, CHS awarded Appreciate Award from Sime Darby Seeds & Agricultural Services Sdn Bhd.
In 2014 & 2016, CHS was also awarded Premium Planting Material & High Quality Agricultural Products Gold Award by Felda (FGV). In 2016, CHS was again awarded Malaysia Agro Excellence Award under the category of “Outstanding Agricultural Quality Product Excellence Award” by Agricultural Protection & Development Association of Malaysia (APDAM). These awards signify the trend of confidence in market shifted towards the quality of our agricultural products.
