Our late founder, Mr Chan Ah Tan

Chan Hock Seng (CHS) Malaysia Sdn Bhd embarked on its journey in 1980 as a modest nursery in the village-town of Lendu, Alor Gajah, Melaka. Under the visionary guidance of Mr. Chan Ah Tan, CHS has transformed into a multi-faceted enterprise, now thriving in various sectors such as palm oil, fertilliser, organic compost, guava, durian, coconut, transporta- tion & land trading across Peninsular Malaysia.

Mr. Chan Ah Tan initiated the company’s journey by starting with rubber & oil palm cultivation.
1990

Mr. Chan Hwa Ming continued to diversify into fertilizer supply.
2000

Chan Hock Seng ventured into transportation & land trading.
2010

Expanded into guava & coconut farming, enriching its agricultural portfolio.
2020

Continued growth by expanding its palm oil sector and exploring the cultivation of durian & organic compost.
